Dear Queen

so this IS my last ever Twisted Sketches LO- the Twist this time is Thanks- I'm wondering if its something to do with me but so many challenge sites have closed their doors or thought about it- particularly ones I'm on the design teams for

the LO is about the letter Arthur sent to the Queen to say thanks for the Jubilee

last weekend we visited Madam Tussauds in London and my three had a great time having photos taken with random wax works- here are a few of Arthur with some of his heroes

homecoming

this LO is for the JUne challenge at Scrap OUr Stash- the challenge is Homecoming


this LO is about our homecoming last August. We moved back to the UK after three years in Holland and moved right back into the house we had lived in before. We had rented it out while we were away. The photos are of the boxes and the removal lorry

hairspray

the June challenge at From Screen to Scrap came from the movie Hairspray- I loved the old version from my teenage years- this is based on the new one

I chose to show pictures of Arthur's unchanging hairstyles

this was for the Child's play Challenge- Cozy Coupe - we just happen to have one flaoting around that we have had for years so I have hundred's of photos of the kids in it

This one is Nancy aged one

I couldn't find the one I really wanted- which was Stanley (age one) asleep in it with his head on the seat

things have got a bit mental around here- I seem to have forgotten to blog and scrap and for ages. I realised today that I was about to miss a deadline so I made the LO and came here to post it- only to find a backlog of LOS I should have posted weeks ago- I mean weeks ago- so be prepared for an onslaught of very LO posts-
this was for Scrap it With a Song- I took the line- "may your worries stay small- and scrapped about Nancy's ballet exam- she had her hair in a bun for it- she wasn't stressed at all- wouldn't it be nice not to be able to worry?

I asked her on the day- "are you nervous?" she said "no" and then said " what's nervous?"
